THE GLASS HISTORY IN EGYPT
The glass manufacture has a prestigious history which starts from the Pharonic era in Egypt, and the evidence of this reveals in the discovery of the glass scepter Among Tutankhamon belongings in his tomb during the 11th century, also there is another proof which is the glass bottles which where discovered in all the ancient Egyptian’s tombs.

During Fatimite period, the glass manufacture began to flourish once more and was mixed by the Islamic art, as a result of this mixing we found the glass lanterns, bottles and flasks.

In the years 1985, we thought of getting this art back to life and to recover an intact industry since the 11th century.
